British Empire LO:Understand what an Empire is and how Britain developed her Empire? Homework: Research 5 facts about one of the countries in the British Empire and find a picture of that country

Key Words colonies – an area of land ruled by another country technological advances – new inventions e.g. railways, that make life easier manufactured goods – products that are made in large numbers in factories
