Welcome – get to know your group Make nametag Front name (large) Back Upper Left corner – Major Upper Right corner – Concentration if your Major is Elementary (undecided ok) Lower left corner – Year in the university (freshman, sophomore, etc.) Lower right corner – DRAW Something you did during the break File Folder (first & last names on tab)

Getting to know each other Share the information on the back of your Nametag (Make sure that each person gets a chance to share.) Discuss what you have in common and how you are different. On the back of your “Group members” sheet, make 2 lists (how you are alike//how you are different.) Special needs – please share with me.

Thinking Back--- Think back to Kindergarten. In what ways are you still the same? How have you changed? Turn half sheet with Group Members over when everybody has had a chance to share.

Make a “Date” You will need something to write with. You will make a date for: 3:00, 6:00, and 9:00 You can only make a date if you are both available at that time. Write down your name on your date’s paper and have them write their name on your paper at the same time. If you can’t find a date for a certain time, come to the front of the room.
