I-Current victims identification processes and challenges 1-Current victims identification processes The six steps of victim identification processes are as follows : - -Initial Contact - -Pre-interview assessment - -Create interview conditions - -Conduct interview - -Consider other materials - -Final decision

2-Challenges -Modus operandi: similarities and links between smugglers and traffickers -Lack of knowledge and skill: frontline officials often do not recognize trafficking crime when they see it. -Lack of victim cooperation -Lack of awareness of victims as to their own status as victims. -High level of trauma -Intimidation -Distrust of law enforcement officials

-Policy on Protection of the Rights of Victims of Human Trafficking (August 31, 2009). - -Prakas On Minimum Standards for Protection of the Rights of Victims of Human Trafficking (September 03, 2009). -Agreement on Implementation Guidelines and Cooperation between Relevant Governmental Institutions and Victim Support Agencies in Trafficking Cases Process (February 06, 2007).

-Lack of close cooperation between investigators and prosecutors. -Lack of effective inter-agency coordination and communication. -Lack of effective coordination among donors. -Lack of timely mutual exchange of information among relevant agencies.
