INTRODUCTION TO CALL 1. WHAT IS CALL? -CALL IS COMPUTER ASSISTED LANGUAGE LEARNING - Being able to have access to hardware, software, and telecommunications spread throughout the world in the context of language learning and teaching

2. What are the types of computer technology that can be used for language teaching and learning? A. The internet, www, blogs, , SNSs the www can contain informational pages, interactive exercises many websites dedicated to the TESL teaching profession the internet is more than www, it’s also a mode of communication – s, discussion boards, chat rooms etc. SNSs - A Web site that provides a virtual community for people interested in a particular subject, to simply "hang out" together or to increase their circle of acquaintances (PC Magazine Encyclopedia)
