Somiloquy Talking aloud in one’s sleep. It can be quite loud, ranging from simple sounds to long speeches, and can occur many times during sleep. Sleep talking usually occurs when transitioning from one stage of sleep to the next It can occur during REM sleep where talking in a dream causes the dreamer to talk out loud. No medical treatment – but a mouth guard can be warn to stop it.
