2 High Level Goals Long term goals –A committed and dedicated stakeholders who want to be involved in STEM (Government and Businesses) –A MoU from Department of Basic Education and Science and Technology –To be the only recognized organization in South Africa for science fair competition –To make it compulsory for all schools to participate – include into curriculum –To encourage learners to be involved in research projects –Embed EBL into pre service training at universities Short term goals –Establish a bank of mentors to assist students –Increase the number schools and participants at regional level –Expand pool of SRC members for continuity of quality –Recognition from government and media –Training of inservice teachers
