HOW TO USE THERMOMETER As if you didn’t know!

THERMOMETERS:  Units: °C (metrics).  Always keep the thermometer in your hand or in substance. NEVER lay the thermometer on the lab table without a roll guard. It will roll off and break. See CLEAN UP procedures.  To get an accurate reading on the thermometer, center the bulb of alcohol in the material.  The thermometer should be washed with cold water: Before you use it Between temperature readings for different chemicals Before returning it
