THE ASPEN IDEA Leadership

Aspen and Leadership The Aspen Ideas festival, which is held at the Aspen Institute, is a festival which brings together many of today’s great leaders and thinkers. Politicians, artists, philosophers, scientists, and educators all gather to discuss great issues of our time by analyzing values of our past and present. The main thing that is analyzed is leadership. Leadership is the most important value a person can possess, this is because without it, nothing would ever be accomplished.

Four Keys to Effective Leadership Vision Enthusiasm Trust Focus on Positive Achievement

Vision and Enthusiasm Vision  In order to be an effective leader, you must first have a vision.  This vision must be true to you and your values. Enthusiasm  In order for other people to see your vision, you must show them with enthusiasm.  You must show that you are passionate about it to earn others trust

Trust and Focus on Positive Achievement Trust  Once you have established your vision and expressed it to others, you must earn their trust.  Without trust, no one will follow. Positive Achievement  You must never focus on your failures, you must always remember and scrutinize your successes.  This will help you realize what it takes to achieve greater success.
