Indexing Fields (Descriptors) ● Organism Descriptors (OD) ● Geographic Location (GL or GE on Ovid) ● Descriptor Index (SH) (Searched & Displayed as Subject Headings, SH) ● Broad Terms (BT) ● Identifiers (ID) Note 1: The SH field is “Phrase Indexed” Note 2: Searching.DE. Searches SH, GE and OD and is Word/Phrase indexed. Note 3: Searching.SU. Searches SH, GE, OD, ID and BT and is Word indexed
