What Family of instruments does the harp come from? The family of instruments the harp comes from is the string family

What is the harps country of origin? The harps country of origin is Ireland it is even displayed on Irish coins.

How is the harp made and what were the materials that were used? The harp is made out of wood they use a triangular frame and a set of different lengths of strings.

How is the harp played? The harp is played by using your fingers to gently pluck the strings to make beautiful flowing notes.

How has the harp changed since it was invented? Harps are among the oldest instruments. But how is it different from then to now? It was not originally a member of the symphony or orchestra.

What period of music was the harp invented in? 3000 BC

What other instruments sound well with the harp? Piano and voice sound very good with the harp.

What genres of instruments are prevalent with the harp? The harp is prevalent in jazz and classical music.
