Tuesday 6th May – Bus Albergue to Universidad Laboral – Spanish Students explain Laboral to Comenius partners. Students make photos for Blog – Visit to the Tower of Laboral (best view of Gijón). What to see from the Tower Guide – Bus from Laboral to Llagar Trabanco (a Llagar is a sidra brewery, sidra is the typical alcoholic drink of Asturias) – Visit to Llagar Trabanco. Degustation – Bus from Trabanco to Gijón TownHall – Guided Tour of Gijón (old town) – Walking from center to the school – Lunch at School – Activity 1: Comenius Survival Kit – Bus to Albergue My City My Europe Our Future

Wednesday 7th May – Bus Albergue to Oviedo (Asturias region capital city) – Guided Tour: Medieval Oviedo – Free time in Oviedo – Gymkana in Oviedo (Students in Comenius Groups) – Bus back to Gijón – Lunch at School – Activity 2: Survey and Solidarity Activity – Closing of the congress – Brief words from each Headmaster. Headmasters speak in their own language but with a ppt with words in english so all understand. 10’ aprox about structure of educational system, organization of school, school projects – Bus to Albergue My City My Europe Our Future

Thursday 8th May – Bus Albergue to School – In Comenius groups students prepare presentations of their school, country, city and mother language. They can use the Comenius Kit from Activity – Comenius groups show their presentations to classes from grades 1 and 2 (6-8 years old) and receive a small gift from the class – Comenius groups show their presentations to classes from grades 3 to 6 (8-11 years old) and receive a small gift from the class – Free time in Gijón – Lunch at School – Bus from School to Ecomuseo – Visit to Ecomuseo – Bus to Albergue My City My Europe Our Future
