We arrive at Le Chateau at 17.30 hours. The telephone ‘tree’ and a texting service will let you know that we have arrived safely.

Essential Travel Information From Friday to Sunday we will stay at the Chateau where activities include visiting Paris for the Eiffel Tower and a boat trip, and also a visit to a local town. On Monday 10th March, we go to Disneyland and then travel to Calais. The return ferry crossing is at 01:40 hours on the Tuesday morning 11th March.

Essential Travel Information We should arrive back at school at approximately 06:00am on Tuesday 11th March. We will use the telephone ‘tree’ and texting service to inform you when we are near to Fakenham. Please be here to meet your child promptly.

Before you leave today….. Telephone numbers. Please make certain that the Visit Leader, Ms. Cook, has a reliable contact number & up to date mobile number for texting service. Medical Information Please make certain that Mrs Griffiths has all details and that you have given her any medication along with a signed agreement to give the medication, including sea-sickness remedies.

Other Details We will contact you only in case of emergency. Only contact us in case of emergency. [Do remember that there is little we can do from a distance]. If you have any worries or concerns, please speak to Ms. Cook.

Some rather important points! At all times the children should try not to lose us, the adults. It is easier to locate one adult rather than many children. The adults going are giving up their free time to take this trip. We do expect good behaviour so that we all enjoy the trip.

Château de Grande Romaine Accommodation All en suite rooms sleep 4 – 6 with single and bunk beds The centre can accommodate 310 guests at a time in two separate purpose built accommodation blocks. Pupils are accommodated in 4-6 bedded rooms, all en suite with shower and toilet facilities Teachers are usually accommodated in twin rooms with en suite and hot drink facilities All rooms are lockable with card key (party leader given master key) All exterior doors and gates are locked at night A PGL staff member is available on duty throughout the night (contactable by phone)

It should be the best trip ever!
