Breakout Speakers Jonah Berger, Marketing Professor at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania will lead a discussion on why some things catch on and become popular and why others do not. How can you use word of mouth to generate interest for a product or initiative? Anna Lingeris, Manager, Brand Public Relation and Consumer Engagement at the Hershey Company will lead a discussion on keeping current in the public relations field, the use of social media and current trends.

Breakout Speakers Karen Huller, founder of Epic Careering and the book “Laser-sharp Career Focus: Pinpoint your Purpose and Passion in 30 Days” will lead a discussion on finding the career you want and using your resume to differentiate yourself from others. Nance McCown, co-chairman of the Communications Department at Messiah College and advisor or the PRSSA Chapter at Messiah College. She will lead a discussion of ethics in the field of Public Relations.

Excursion Option Gettysburg Gettysburg National Military Park- visit the Gettysburg Museum and Visitors Center then take the American Stories Historic Walking Tour, a guide will lead you through the historic district and back in time to when the battle waged through the town’s streets. Then walk through the Soldier’s National Cemetery where President Abraham Lincoln delivered his famous Gettysburg Address. You will have the opportunity to visit the Heritage Center. Lunch will be on your own at General Pickett’s Buffet.

Excursion Options Hershey Hershey – visit Chocolate World for a tour of how world famous Hershey Chocolate is made. Explore the assortment of sweet chocolate attractions and treat your senses to the many wonders of chocolate. Lunch will be on your own at the food court there. After the tour ride the trolley on a tour of the town of Hershey with a stop at The Hershey Story Interactive Museum where you will learn of Milton Hershey’s amazing rags to riches story.
