Professional Development Options  Half Day Professional Development:  May be delivered at a school, district, educational cooperative, or other entity. Multiple districts/schools may be in attendance.  Events are open to all educators using any QualityCore Courses.  Materials include a Participant's Handbook and a course-specific binder.  Delivered face-to-face by two ACT trainers in either a large or small group setting.  A great train-the-trainer PD or an all staff option.  The half day event is NOT broken down by domain.

 Five Day Professional Development:  Includes three days in the summer, one day in the fall, and one day in the spring.  Delivered face-to-face by two ACT trainers.  Facilitated within the client's district and given at the building or district level.  Multiple districts/schools can be in attendance at the same event.  Events are broken down by domain.  Five Day Professional Development (cont)  Focuses explicitly on helping teachers understand and maximize the academic readiness and academic behaviors of their students.  Targets content knowledge and instructional practices, as well as strategies for building and sustaining student engagement.  Ensures that teachers build the capacity to help all of their students learn and use assessments effectively to guide their instruction.
