The aspects of Globalization Lyceum №5, 11 “B” Class

Globalization and social change

Globalization refers to the idea that the world is developing a single economy and culture as a result of improved technology and communications. There are many arguments surrounding the phenomenon of globalization and they’re all quite controversial Supporters of globalization or globalists argue that world trade makes everyone richer.

Globalization influences the economic process in our country

The business cycle Buying materials and employing people Producing Goods Selling the goods to a customer Borrowing money from an investor

Economic globalization is a world trend and it inevitably influences economies of all countries. The main advantage of globalization is that globalization can create new jobs and increase employment. Russian companies have investors, customs or partners abroad.

Globalization influences the political and social life of our country

The main goal of аnу nation is stability, safety and welfare of its citizens. It is evident that in the age of high technology and global integration the boundaries can’t properly divide or protect countries any longer. Thus, political instability in one country, a local military operation or an unpopular political decision can cause a chain reaction and affect many countries.

Globalization influences Russia’s cultural life, its science and its educational system

The process of integration and intense communication among nations leads to the so-called cultural diffusion. People in different corners of the world start to share the same interests and preferences; their lifestyles and pastimes are becoming more and alike. The entertainment industry is not the only contributor to globalization. Other factors also influence peoples customs, morals, family values, and education.

Anti-globalization movement

The groups and individuals purpose was to combat the globalization of corporate economic activity and to prevent the free trade among nations. Support of human rights is another cornerstone of the anti-globalization movement's platform. In general, movement leaders tend to encourage peaceful protects as the more productive way of getting attention and respect for their goals.
