What is a Bishop Suffragan? Bishop aspect Sacramental responsibilities  celebrating Holy Communion and baptizing  Confirmation  Ordination Full member of House of Bishops with full vote Full participant in the Lambeth Conference A focus of unity: a living embodied representation of the church catholic Suffragan aspect Authority given to the Suffragan is delegated from the Diocesan Bishop Key words for Suffragan  Helper  Deputy  Collegiality with Diocesan The Suffragan often carries a certain freedom in their ministry because they lack the responsibilities that go with running a jurisdiction

A Prayer for the Church Gracious Father, we pray for your holy Catholic Church. Fill it with all truth, in all truth with all peace. Where it is corrupt, purify it; where it is in error, direct it; where in any thing it is amiss, reform it. Where it is right, strengthen it; where it is in want, provide for it; where it is divided, reunite it; for the sake of Jesus Christ thy Son our Savior. Amen.
