Picture Storytelling: In-class Practice Maggie Hsieh 2004/8/17, revised

Story elements & outline It takes minutes to review. (They are not new to my students.) It takes a story and a certain amount of time to explain to students who don ’ t know what story elements/outline are.

Pic-storytelling: Stage 1 (10-15min. review min. Stage 1) 1. Think: 首 / 尾 /verbs (=3 min.) 2. Tell (1): 1.5 min. x 2 (=3 min.) 1 speaks/ 1 take notes (up&down) 3. Tell (2): Repeat 2 (=3 min.) 4. Rearrange details (=3 min.) OK to use others ’ ideas/ ending 5. Tell (3): 2 min. X 2 (=4 min.) 6. Tell Class/ Write (=4 min.)
