Which type of home has the better insulation, to keep it a comfortable temperature inside?

Which of these homes were made from native materials gathered from the neighborhood? Which of these homes are permanent?

These are images of a city as it has grown through time. What city is this? Put the images in the right time order. A. E. D. C. B.

These maps show the same city. Water is blue, urban areas are yellow, desert is grey, and rocky mountains are black and white. Why was water there in the 1952 map, but never before? How was this city able to grow because of the water?
