Chinese WPAN Working Group (1) Under the supervisor of National Information Standard Committee, Chinese WPAN Working Group was organized in 2005 –Purpose: Create the Chinese national WPAN standard Build up the standard Testing, Evaluation and Certification System. –WG Organization: Including the LR-WPAN WG and UWB SG (soon). CESI is the Chair Until now, some Communication, Semiconductor, CE companies and best universities are involved in the WG. More are applying to engage in 2006.

Chinese WPAN Working Group (2) –Openness: Chinese WPAN Std WG would open and cooperate with Global STD groups, sharing info, procedure, tech development and std documents. Any Chinese (own) companies or universities may apply to be the formal members of WG or SG Any Foreign Companies or universities may apply to be the non- voting members of WG or SG There are the strict conditions and evaluation procedures for member quality. Chinese WPAN Working Group and National Info Std committee reserves the right to approve the application and the membership.
