What to look for? Since this is writing, very easy to look at the previous year (Reading) to determine a longitudinal trend Are we looking at a weak cohort of students? Are we looking at an instructional issue? If school has a high proportion of “red ink”, supports are available through CIA. Even though the NESD is not participating with AFL this upcoming year we should not disregard the data. These assessments will be forming the basis of the future assessments
