WHO declared India Polio Free early this year but the danger remains. Our children would continue to live in the fear of catching the polio-virus once again, till the time the entire world is polio free. There are still three countries in the world, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nigeria, which are polio endemic. It is a public health emergency for the entire world since the virus can travel through a carrier anywhere.

The school children of India have joined hands with Rotary International in last several years to fight against polio. The school children have been generating awareness and raised funds to support these endeavors of regular immunisation. THIS IS HOW THE SCHOOL CHILDREN MADE A DIFFERENCE
