PLANS FOR THE CURRENT QUARTER UJANA continues to supervise the work of IPs as per their work plans To implement ‘Safe School’ pilot project in 3 secondary schools in Makete on prevention of SRGBV as a window for HIV infection: SUMASESU Iringa Regional Secretariat to conduct training of selected influential leaders to understand their responsibilities towards supporting youth initiatives to combat HIV infections KIWOHEDE to implement an integrated HIV prevention and economic empowerment to women in risk of GBV

HIGHLIGHTS IN TERM OF COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER PARTNERS IN IRINGA 1) As per the addendum, FHI UJANA to meet with partners and discuss ways to strengthen collaboration Jhpiego = support annual MC campaigns; 2 MC campaigns were conducted in June by IDYDC, in Mainga and Iringa town STRADCOM: to build capacity of SUMASESU in preparing Jingoes, radio programs and mass media campaigns CHAMPION: collaboration in community outreach activities AMREF: collaboration in demand creation and referral for VCT services Thank you
