Most of you who browse the internet regularly, have seen websites that have a little orange icon at any part of the webpage such as this one below. This is called the Real Simple Syndication or RSS.
The website that contains this orange icon or RSS, offers its contents as an RSS stream. This means you can subscribe to the information like podcasts, articles, news, sports updates. All of these will be available on your home page whenever there is something new. Here is an example of RSS feed from BBC.co.uk

Step 1 Open your favorite browser and go to a website that provides RSS service Example: Step 2 Right Click on the orange icon and choose “Copy Link Location”.
Step 3 Sign in to iGoogle home page at with your Google Accounthttp://
Step 4 On the top right corner of your Google home page, click “Add stuff >>”
Step 5 On the “Add Stuff” screen, click ”Add feed or gadget” from the bottom of the left navigation bar. Step 6 Paste the URL (from Step 2) in the box and click “Add”
