Student Stats BIO 110 & I felt the use of clickers enhanced my learning experience. 81% 88% 2.I felt that clicker questions made me pay attention more. 88% 89% 3.The use of clickers made me interact more during lecture. 84% 88% 4.I learned how to answer questions better by being exposed to clicker based questions. 78% 82% 5.I immediately learned if I was misunderstanding the information after answering clicker based questions. 86% 89% n =12 25

Continued 6. Was the cost of the clicker equal to the value that you placed on it in terms of how it enhanced your learning experience? 88% 82% 7.Everything else being equal, if you had to choose between a class that used clickers, or didn’t use clickers, which class would you chose? 100% 92% would chose class with clickers

Student Comments Clickers are a good tool in evaluating yourself w/o being embarrassed about answering or asking questions. It was awesome (clickers). I like the clickers b/c I can answer what I think w/out anyone knowing, except the instructor, if I was wrong/right. I think the clickers are a great way of learning I have never used one before-I thought they were effective and they were effective and worth the expense. Clickers reinforce the info that was taught and I believe it has helped me to answer question (process info) quicker. I enjoyed using clickers. I truly think that they should be used more often. Better be used too!

Continued I think the clicker added another dimension to the lecture I like how they don’t count as a grade therefore people don’t stress over them. they helped me prepare for the exams I really liked using the clickers. It helped me a lot with knowing the notes & understanding them. I wish all the classes used the clickers. Don’t use clickers: too much to keep up with
