My Family My Family comes from two different heritages My dad’s family is Irish My mom’s family is Norwegian

The Connors Family is of Irish Origin Here is a picture of the family crest The green means: Hope, Loyalty in Love The Silver and White means: Serenity, Peace The Helmet means: Wise Defense Meaning of Symbols and Colors : The red means: Warrior, Military Strength My Family

The Connors Family My family’s ancestors came from Ireland It is unknown, but speculated that they came to America during the Potato famine in Ireland in the late 1800’s In Mt. Vernon, WI, there is still a family farm where my aunt and uncle live, and farm the land to this day My dad’s family has been farming for a very long time

My Great-Grandmother, Amalie Kristiansen, came to America in 1913 She was 7 years old Came over with her sister, and grandfather The ship she sailed on was called: Oscar II Once they traveled to the United States, they made their home in Blue Mounds, WI where my great grandmother lived for the rest of her life My Family

Traditions Every year at Christmas time, my grandma makes Lefse My grandparents enjoy Lutefisk once a year.

That is what makes my family special!
