Cherokee of the southeast U.S.

Physical Features The Cherokee Lived In The Smoky Mountains

Climate The climate was mostly hot, but also cold in the winter.

Natural Resources The Cherokee used these items: Water, to drink. Stone, for balls Plants and animals, for eating. Wood, for building

Housing The Cherokee made a summer house made of logs, trees, and cane, as well as the house’s outside being made of hide. They also had a winter house made of mud and deerskin.

Clothing Cherokee wore: Animal skin Moccasins And the young boys, ages 0-8, wore nothing in the summer.

Arts & Crafts Cherokee made: Baskets Canoes And clay pots
