SOME LOCATIONS OF TEMPERATE FORESTS: MAP  Eastern Asia  Central and Western Europe  Eastern United States CLIMATE:  Temperatures range from hot in the summer with highs of 86 degrees Fahrenheit, to extremely cold in the winter with lows of - 22 degrees Fahrenheit. There is usually inches of precipitation annually.

 always changing climate.  fertile enriched soil  moderately dense canopy  abundant moisture.  good place for almost all sorts of birds and animals  good source for water and food as well as good shelter for various species

ANIMALS  These animals include various insects and spiders, wolves, foxes, bears, coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, eagles, rabbits, deer, skunks, squirrels, raccoons, moose and hummingbirds. PLANTS  Forest Canopy Tier: Maple trees, Walnut trees, Birch trees Small Tree Tier: Dogwoods, Redbuds, Shadbush Shrub Tier: Azaleas, Mountain Laurel, Huckleberries Herb Tier: Blue Bead Lily, Indian Cucumber, Wild Sarsaparilla Floor Tier: Lichens and Mosses 

 You must be able to work with cold winters and hot summers.  You Must be fast and sly to run away from predators IF YOU HIBERNATE OR MIGRATE You must then have a wide supply of food source for the long winter. IF YOU DON”T  Animals who do not hibernate or migrate must have special adaptations to deal with higher exposure to predators in the winter. When leaves fall, there is less cover for animals in this habitat to hide from predators.

NAME: PorciSquirbadeer

 The Porcupine body is for if predators try to attack them. With the quills they can simply sting the predator. And the predator would get scared and run away.  The Bear legs are so they can run at top 40 miles per hour to be able to either compete with food in the Winter, run away from predators, or chase their food (victims).  The Squirrel head is so they can survive in the Winter. They store food before Winter.  And the deer tail is for even faster reflexes.
