TOUR and WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION After an introduction to R.H. Sheppard and a review of this site’s history of Enterprise Excellence, attendees will go on a tour of the operation. Tour highlights include: Visual Management (Manufacturing Operating System), Pull/Kanban, Production Preparation Processes (3P), Flow lines, Quick Changeover techniques and a high technology integrated assembly process of the R. H. Sheppard High Pressure Injector Pumps. The afternoon workshop “A3 Improvement Process” will define, demonstrate and discuss how A3s can be used to develop the problem solving skills of all members of the organization, as well as the coaching skills of leaders. Attendees are asked to bring with them a problem so that they can begin the A3 process during the workshop, and provide them with a real, tangible takeaway from the event. R.H.
