The Five Essential Elements of the Primary Years Programme To achieve a balance in learning, the PYP emphasizes the five parts of the written curriculum which are called the Essential Elements of the curriculum. These five elements are concepts, knowledge, skills, attitudes and action.

International Day  International Day is introduced in Grade 3 to celebrate different cultures and to promote tolerance and open- mindedness.
