Israel and Palestine Conflict By: Flavia Arthur MYP3

What is it? It is a war between Palestine and Israel.

Why is it happening? The Israelis believe that they are entitled to the land now known as Israel. The Palestinians believe that they are entitled to the land they call Palestine. Both sides believe that God gave them the land, therefore giving it up to the other people would be a sin and an insult to their God

When did it start? It started in May 1948 Fighting for over 60 years

Where is it? It is being taken placed in Israel/Palestine

The Wall Has been build for security Less attacks since it has been built The Wall will be over 650 km It is inside the West Bank The wall is from 25 – 330 feet high approx.

The Israeli perspective They think they have right to the land: - it got given to them from God - would be a sin if they gave it to the people of Palestine It is their home so they should have to move out

The Palestine Perspective They think they have right to the land: - it got given to them from God - would be a sin if they gave it to the people of Palestine It is their home so they should have to move out

Solutions There are different solutions that could solve the problem There are different solutions that could solve the problem The land gets split, therefore the people of Israel and the people of Palestine each get a piece of the land.
