21st Century Skills Work in triads to design a lesson that will teach college-level students about the 21st Century Skills. You may wish to address: Where the skills originated The importance of the skills A description of the skills Means of implementing the skills in K-8 classrooms

Daily Outline Develop a Lesson Plan (21st C Skills) Opening Review Lesson Plans Lecture: How Do Teachers Prepare to Teach? Group Work: Lesson Conception Closing

Daily Objectives Identify 21 st Century Skills. Describe and recognize the importance of planning, curriculum, instruction, and assessment in elementary education. Identify basic components of lesson plans. Conceive rudimentary lesson plans using concept mapping software.
