Team Practice Purpose: Assist students in their comprehension and reading skills (words in context) Vocabulary Cloze Multiple Choice Meaningful Sentences (feedback) Fluency

Cloze Practice Number your papers according to underlined words. Students Number your papers according to underlined words. Read passage/sentences. Pick the word that best completes each sentence. Write your answers next to the matching numbers on paper. Teams Take turns reading the sentences, including the missing words. Tell your teammates one clue that helped you find the answer. If you disagree on an answer, discuss it until all teammates agree. Partners Quiz your partner on the meanings of the words that he/she missed on the practice activity.
