Supplemental Academic Instruction (SAI) Funding Prioritize resource allocation for –Students who are deficient in reading by the end of grade 3 (Grade 3 FCAT Level 1) –Students who score a Level 1 on the Grade 10 FCAT –Students who fail to meet performance levels required for promotion District superintendent must certify that s , F.S. requirements are implemented in order to receive SAI funds

A district student progression plan is not just a required document, it is a comprehensive working tool designed to assist schools to help ensure that all students are successful and prepared for the next grade level.
