KAPUŠIANSKY HRAD built based on an earlier Slavonic settlement in the 13th century. In the 14th century has been fighting Matúš Čaka Charles Robert to be thrown down. ŠARIŠSKY HRAD located on the top of a volcanic hill 570 m above sea level. other names castrum Sarus or in 1312 castrum de Saarus is one of the largest medieval castle in Slovakia. since of his existence was the king's castle, it was the seat of kings at the time stayed in Šariš (Belo IV., Stefan, Ladislav IV.).
