COMPONENTS OF A MAP Latitude Longitude Equator Prime Meridian Compass Key

LATITUDE Latitude is the location of a place on Earth North and South of the Equator Latitude is Flatitude!

EQUATOR The Equator is the central line of latitude. All lines of latitude are measured in relation to the equator.

LONGITUDE Longistude is the location of a place on Earth East and West of the Prime Meridian Longitude is like long pants!

PRIME MERIDIAN The Prime Meridian is the central line of longitude. All lines of longitude are measured in relation to the Prime Meridian.

COMPASS The compass shows you the orientation of the map.

KEY The key lets you know what different symbols on the map mean
