EARTHS MAGNETIC FIELD All about the “E.M.F”

Is it dangerous that our satellites might be destroyed? What is the E.M.F? It’s a shield that helps protect the earth from: Violent solar storms Space particles But when it fails to protect us, the solar winds can seriously affect disrupt or destroy our satellites Is it dangerous that our satellites might be destroyed?

How does it work? The magnetism of the field is generated by the rotating lava in the Earth’s core Because the Earth’s core has iron and nickel in it the rotation generates an electric charge The heat of the core is another element that contributes to the charge

Earth is just a big magnet The magnetic field divides into the North and South pole The connecting field lines is called the “magnetosphere” ITS HOW A COMPASS WORKS! When a compass reads North its repelling the magnetic north
