We report Yes / No questions

1. Use “if /whether” “ Are you surprised? An interviewer asked Depp. An interviewer asked Depp if he was surpised.

2. Put the subject before the verb “ Is Will Smith the main actor of the film Seven Pounds?” asked May. May asked if Will Smith is the main actor of the film Seven Pounds.

3. Leave out the auxiliary verb do “ Does your brother like watching thrillers?” asked Joe. Joe asked if my brother likes watching thrillers.
