The Culture of Hate in the Palestinian Social Media The Culture of Hate in the Palestinian Social Media Updated 12 October 2015

"Stab, Stab, Stab Tomorrow is the Day of Stabbing in the West Bank and Jerusalem This is a Day of Rage, a historic day For you, Jerusalem, I will sacrifice my soul” Posts in the Palestinian Social Media

“Dear rebellious brother in the West Bank and Jerusalem: The best way to attack soldiers and Zionist settlers is to stick your blessed knife directly into their necks, right below the ear. If you stab them there and then remove the knife, no one will be able to help the injured, even if an ambulance is located nearby. The wounded victim will die quickly.” How to make a deadly Molotov Cocktail Posted in the Hamas forum (Paldf.net) 10/10/15 Posts in the Palestinian Social Media

"Slaughter Instructions: 1.Use a sharp, serrated knife 2.You don’t have to dip the knife in poison.. it can also be dipped in lead 3.Stab in the heart or the center of the neck or the center of the stomach 4.Turn the knife, withdraw it and stab again and again with force… Wishing you a blessed intifada” Posts in the Palestinian Social Media Posted in the Hamas forum (Paldf.net) 10/10/15

Posts in the Palestinian Social Media

From the Palestinian Authority journal Al-Hayat Al-Jedida 10 Oct The daily cartoon in the Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds. A knife in the shape of “Greater Palestine” [inc. the entire territory of the State of Israel] 8 Oct. 2015

Official Fatah facebook page describes stabbings as “acts of heroism” in posts commemorating two terrorists who perpetrated stabbing attacks in Jerusalem on 10 Oct. 2015

Fatah claims responsibility and commends the terrorist that stabbed a 15-year-old boy: “our brave shaheed (martyr)” Official Fatah flyer: “The Fatah movement in Jerusalem announces the death of its brave shaheed, the martyr of Jerusalem, Fadi Alloun.” At the top of the flyer, the Fatah symbol is flanked by pictures of Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas. Fadi Alloun carried out the stabbing attack in Jerusalem on 4 October 2015, wounding a 15-year-old Jewish youth, and was shot to death by Israeli police.

Examples of hate posts recently published by Fatah in the social media

“Fatah – Beit Furik branch said the killing of the two settlers was a ”natural response" to the crimes of the Occupation and settlers’ violence. Fatah holds Israel responsible for any escalation by its security forces and by extremists among the settlers; all get their green light from Netanyahu’s government.” Ma’an News Agency 2 October 2015

A particularly horrific caricature first published during the wave of terrorist attacks a year ago and republished in the Palestinian social media following the recent attacks.

Caricature showing Jews walking on a knife blade towards a grave shaped like “Greater Palestine” [claiming the entire territory of the State of Israel]. The headstone says: “Cemetery of the invaders”

Caricature by the Palestinian caricaturist Omayya Joha, who works for Al-Quds newspaper. Joha is the widow of Hamas terrorist Rami Sa'ad.

In honor of the terrorists that murdered Rabbi Eitam Henkin and his wife Naama in front of their 4 children on 1 October 2015 Following Israel’s announcement that the Henkins’ murderers had been captured, Hamas officially claimed responsibility for the attack and published a flyer praising the act. On the flyer appear pictures of the terrorists and of this and other shooting attacks.

A post appearing in the Palestinian social media, including those associated with Hamas, says: “If you won’t be there for Jerusalem, who will?” It also shows the last posts published by terrorists prior to going out on their murderous journey.
