Leadership Statement As an administrative leader I will strive for excellence in student learning, employees’ fulfillment in the community with which we all work and live. Student learning is vital to any school mission and vision to support creating an environment that enhances as well as facilitates learning. As an administrative leader I will make decisions based upon the benefits of the education of students and not for administrative convenience. An administrator is in charge of manning the ship with all the little daily responsibilities that go with managing a school, student learning, but he must never lose sight that if subordinates are not happy they have a direct effect on student learning. I will manage a school with instructional and ethical leadership adhering to the laws and governance of Idaho to create an environment where students feel they are in a safe and respectable environment to be engaged in learning. As an administrative leader I will keep stakeholders involved and informed so they will support my school. As an administrative leader I will create a productive school environment through communication and listening when managing and running a school, while soliciting participation from stakeholders. Creating a culture of communication and respect with students, subordinates, and stakeholders will create the best environment for student achievement and learning. Full Leadership Statement

Standard One: Visionary and Strategic Leadership A school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students and staff by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared and supported by all stakeholders. Administrative statement: As and administrative leader I will facilitate through communication and shared leadership the school vision to promote student learning. As an administrative leader I will facilitate this process through open dialogue not through a administrative expediency. As an administrative leader I will include all subordinates to be a part of the strategic plan of managing a schools learning environment and help subordinates to understand their role in the student learning. Standard Two: Instructional Leadership A school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by advocating, nurturing, and sustaining a school culture and instructional program conducive to student learning and staff professional growth. Administrative statement: It is the role of an administrator to push subordinates to want the best for students so students can reach their achievement goals. As an administrator I will provide the support and engagement that subordinates need to find the path that leads to student success. As an administrative leader I will provide a safe learning and working environment where both students and subordinates feel supported and encouraged to achieve. TOC
