System Strength – Memorial Hospital of RI  All approvals are now complete, final closing expected early September  CNE will benefit from having MHRI in our system - they are a resource with strong programming that will help us be successful  MHRI will lead our system primary care efforts through the Center for Primary Care and Prevention  MRHI will benefit from our process improvement systems, especially in high cost areas

System Strength – Memorial Hospital of RI  Quality of the staff and the physicians is excellent  There is bed capacity that we can put to good use  They will become part of our Councils and will be integral in enabling us to move forward to transform the future of health care

Clinical Excellence – Patient Experience of Care The GOOD News …  Med/Surg inpatient mean score 90.3, 98 th percentile  NICU mean score 92.7, 95 th percentile The BAD News …  All inpatient mean score 85.8, 34 th percentile  OB inpatient mean score 83.1, 5 th percentile

Clinical Excellence – Patient Experience of Care HCAHPS Scores  Those who rate the hospital a 9 or a 10 – 68.9% (down from 77.7% last quarter)  Those who would recommend our hospital – 85.8% (up from 83.8% last quarter)

Clinical Excellence – Patient Experience of Care  This is our lowest inpatient and OB patient experience percentiles in a decade  There were fewer med/surg inpatients and a higher percentage of OB patients going into our overall inpatient score  Patient satisfaction scores will significantly impact our reimbursements in the future
