SOCIAL EPIDEMIC : ABSENTEE FATHERS

Fathers play different roles in the home. They can be describe as : A) Moral Guidance B) Breadwinner C) Companion D) Educator E) Protector

 85% of all children that exhibit behavioral disorders come from fatherless homes  71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes  85% of all youths sitting in prisons grew up in a fatherless homes  Translated, this means that children from a fatherless home are :  20 times more likely to have behavioral disorder  9 times more likely to drop out of school  20 times more likely to end up in prison

o Fathers that are not physically present at home o Fathers that are present but their presence are not felt o Fathers who emotionally choose not to parent their children
