The Leader The leader takes charge of group communication and decision making Takes charge of group projects Becomes easy to communicate with about group functions May want to find out what his/her group thinks a good leader posses

The Leader’s Influence A vision of how the group goals should be completed Makes everyone in the group responsible for there own goals Improves the groups structure Helps group members become focused and productive

Leaders Organizing Skills The leader must be well organized More organized then group members so he/she is ready for any little bump in the road Lets the group do a large part of the organizing he/she has already done

Letting Go!!! The leader has to let go of tasks that will help other people develop Forget you ever had decision making powers Know what group members are capable of Help people to take over by involving them more
