 Salsa is a kind and musical culture developed by Latin musicians of Caribbean origin, which presents the following characteristics :

 Pace: There uses as base the same rhythmic boss of the sound, with key of sound in two compases of 4/4. Melody: He presents a mixture of melodic Cuban features with melodic features of the conventional jazz and of the Latin folklore. Harmony: It connects harmonic Cuban features with certain features of jazz and other musical Latin people.

 Nstrumentación: It uses Cuban instruments popularized from the years 20's: large frying pans or kettledrums of dance, bongó, güiro Cuban, bell, two maracas (in other regions only one was used), conga (it was differing from other Afro-Latin drums for his iron-work of final touch), and the instruments piano, double-bass (in some cases down electrical), trumpet, saxophone (especially baritone) and trombonist (in some cases and especially in traditional sauce, the flute was in use traversa and the violin).
