 Word search; Citizenship  Find the words  Consider the meanings of the words

 To explore different ways our community can benefit from our enterprise activities - To explore what it means to be an active citizen - To research different local charities that can benefit from the money we have raised.

 Name all the different members of you community. Our Community Elderly

 What rights do you have within your community?  Do you have a responsibility to others?  How can you help others in your local community?

 Volunteering; charity shops, schools, community centres, elderly or disabled neighbour or relative (*NB* You must know this person and have your parents permission)  Donating to charities  Coaching youth sports teams  Organising charity events

 How much have we raised so far?  How much will we be adding to this?  Multiply this by two for your house contribution  Multiple this by four for year 11 contribution  Where should it go?

 Last year we donated to St Anne’s Hospice  What other local charities can you name?

 In Pairs you much research local charities  You will need to divide your research tasks equally  You will then need to produce a PowerPoint of the charities you have researched  You will need to decide together which charity should benefit from the money raised  You must then verbally present this to the class

 Complete pages 5-7 in the workbook  This is the plan of how you will work together equally and fairly as a pair.  Now complete your research tasks.
