Unit 1 Vocabulary “Pathways”

S.O.R. Losers Vocabulary

pep 1. to shape or give form 2. a lively, vital spirit; energy 3. a funny sheep dog After the brisk walk, I was full of pep.

attitude 1. a way of thinking, acting, or feeling 2. the understanding, or knowledge that is the result of perceiving 3. a device that detects heat Your attitude toward school is more enthusiastic than mine.

defect 1. to leave one country or group for another 2. to show a bad attitude toward someone 3. to watch a horror movie with disgust Some Cuban citizens choose to defect from their country because they are unhappy with the government.
