The Amazing ‘Phrasal Verb’ Race Materials : Whiteboard, duster, whiteboard marker Bag (to contain the phrasal verb cards) 20 pairs of phrasal verb cards (for every 2 groups) Coloured papers Markers Follow-up activity

The first team will choose a player to pick a card from the bag. The Amazing ‘Phrasal Verb’ Race Instructions

Team members have 2 minutes to guess the phrasal verb. The Amazing ‘Phrasal Verb’ Race

If successful, the team members will have to look for the other matching card placed around the class. The Amazing ‘Phrasal Verb’ Race

The group will be awarded 2 points for a completed yellow card and 5 points for a completed pink card. The next group will then have their turn. The group with the most number of points will win the game.
