What is organic?

Organic means no chemicals, being nice to the animals, and a healthy planet.

Is organic food healthier than regular food?

There is no proof that the chemicals on regular food causes cancer but some people would rather be safe than sorry.

What food can you get organic?

You can actually get almost all foods organic.

Who was the first person that thought organic food was a good idea?

Sir Albert Howard is considered the father of organic. He also worked in India on understanding healthy soil.

What chemicals can you find on regular foods?

You can find pesticides, fertilizers and other man-made chemicals in your fruits, vegetables and grains. Hormones and antibiotics are also found in meat.

What stores could you get organic food?

You can get organic food at Planet Organic, Organic Roots, Save-on- Foods, Farmer’s Market and D’lish.

Can you get anything else organic?

Yes, you can get clothes, backpacks, skin care products, pillows, pest killer and drinks.
