Daniel 7:9-10

The Ageless One The One Who Has Always Been – Psalm 90:2, “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.” The One Who Will Always Be – Time was actually created by God, but He Himself is over and above it. There are no such things as past, present, and future with God. Those are boundaries in which we live. God lives in one eternal now. Tomorrow is just as real to God as today or yesterday because He has already experienced it.

The Awesome One Awesome in His Person – Psalm 99:5, “Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.” Awesome in His Position – Psalm 50:6, “And the heavens shall declare His righteousness: for God is judge Himself.” Psalm 9:8, “And He shall judge the world in righteousness, He shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.” Awesome in His Providence – Exodus 15:11, “Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders.”

THE ADJUDGING ONE – The Serving ones Psalm 68:17, “The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.” Psalm 103:20, “Bless the LORD, ye His angels that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word.”

The Sentenced Ones – Daniel and John saw different books. There was the Book of Life in which are the names of every person that is saved. The second set of books appears to be a record of all their deeds.
