Biographical information  Dmitri Mendeleev  Birth place: Toboski, Siberia  Born: February, 7,1834  Dmitri died February, 2,1907  He was best known as the chemist who created the periodic table of elements.

Scientific discovery  Dmitri Mendeleev understands the properties of atoms and created a table.  In the late 1860’s Dmitri began working on his great achievement: The periodic table of the elements.  Dmitri took an entrance exam; he passed with flying colors though he did not pass in honors but he passed enough to be admitted to science teacher training program

Other Endeavors  In 1859 Dmitri was assigned by the minister of public instruction to go abroad to study and develop scientific and technological innovations.  In 1863 he was named professor of chemistry at the technological Institute.

Dmitri’s History  Dmitri studied science at St. Petersburg and graduated in  Dmitri’s table did not include any of the gases, however, which had not yet been discovered.  Dmitri anticipated Andrews concept in 1859 of the critical temperatures of gases.

More about Dmitri Mendeleev  Periodic table was based on atomic mass  He arranged the elements in order of atomic weight and grouping them by similarity of properties  Mendeleev provided for variance from strict atomic weight order, he left space for new elements

Life as young man  Dmitri was the youngest of 17 children.  By age 14 Dmitri showed great promise in science, and his mother determined he would get good education.

. Dmitri continued his study’s how ever he felt ill for along time. The doctors thought he might have tuberculosis, but he ended up recovering and being healthy after graduation

Questions about dimitri Where was Dmitri admitted? Where was Dmitri admitted?  What kind of exam did Dmitri take  Name the two tables that Dmitri created  Where was Dmitri born at?  When did he die?  He was best known as?  In the 1860’s what Dmitri begin to work with?
