About the Museum The J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Center in Los Angeles houses European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, decorative arts, and European and American photographs. The Villa houses approximately 44,000 works of art from the Museum's extensive collection of Greek, Roman, and Etruscan antiquities, of which over 1,200 are on view.

Famous Art Pieces The Getty’s Museum contains many priceless paintings and artifacts as depicted in the background of this slide the Museum owns this famous Van Goh painting titles “ Irises.” Many other artist from Europe and others from the Renaissance Period, their works can be found here

More Famous Art This famous artwork created by Giuliano Amadei a famous Itailan painter (1484 – 1492) is titled «The Crucifixion» or in Italian «La Crocifissione» contains gold inlay on the canvas and is priced around half a million dollars

Reflection This museum by far is the most interesting I've been to yet, the museum itself contains hundreds of interesting artwork from the early 1600’s to modern day art master pieces. The museum also contains other works of arts including statues wood works and tapestries. If you are overwhelmed by the artwork the almost 10 acre size museum also has an outdoor garden you may view for your relaxation. Overall my visit at this museum was an incredible one to say the least.
